Club ride – 7 May 2017 – Taralga (via Crookwell)

After a long endless working week and being caught in traffic to and from work you dream of the open road on a fine sunny Sunday.

Well a lot of you missed a marvellous day’s ride across the open country side with great company and food thrown in.

So you should make an effort to get out of bed each Sunday morning and join us next time because life will pass you by. Life is meant to be enjoyed and I prefer to spend my Sundays in God’s Cathedral with real life colours and peace from the pressures of life.

RMS Live Traffic - useful for travellers in NSW

It was suggested at the April meeting that the RMS (Roads and Maritime Services) NSW Live Traffic site might be useful to travelers to this years National AGM.

This is certainly true - and furthermore is useful all around the year as well.

As with most sites like this there are special apps which can be downloaded to your smartphone - but a quick web search will provide quite a useful website nevertheless.

  •  A similar search for the BOM ( Bureau of Meteriology) will also be useful and again there are apps for our smartphones as well. http://www.bom.gov.au
So with a little work you can have weather and road conditions ready to hand on your smartphone - as long as you keep it charged :-
